Audrey Bouctot tasked with streamlining Honoré’s finances as new CFO

Sportsbook and igaming platform provider Honoré Gaming has announced a new Chief Financial Officer, appointing Audrey Bouctot to the role.

In her new position as CFO, Boycott will be responsible for development and growth of Honoré’s financial department, including the streamlining process, undertaking monthly closing, monitoring costs and setting KPIs.

Boycott’s 15 years of experience in corporate finance has seen the new hire work in the automaticity and energy sectors, as well as in investment funds, most recently serving as CEO of non-tech food industry start-up Poulehouse.

Commenting on her new igaming role, Bouctot remarked: “It is a huge honour to join Honoré Gaming as CFO and to be given the responsibility of overseeing the company’s financial department.

“I am excited by the challenge of working within a new industry but believe my knowledge and experience put me in good stead to not only achieve but surpass the goals I have been set.”

A provider of turnkey sportsbook and online gaming solutions, Honoré Gaming operates in the African market – a regional sector it has identified as ‘fast-growing’ – particularly French-speaking countries.

The company offers an omni-channel solution for both retail and online operators, including  a customisable platform and a back-office for management purposes.

Offering his views on opportunities in the African betting and gaming market in Issue 19 of the SBC Leaders Magazine, Honoré CEO Cyril Casanova highlighted the popularity of sports in the region as well as technological advancements, but noted that challenges still remain such as with regards to payments provisions and regulation.

Welcoming the firm’s new CFO, Christophe Casanova, Honoré’s Chief Operating Officer, said: “We are thrilled to announce that Audrey has joined Honoré Gaming as Chief Financial Officer and for us to be able to leverage her experience in corporate finance as we continue to grow.

“That Audrey’s experience comes from outside of the sector is an added bonus, allowing us to take on board new perspectives and learnings from other industries and use this to help drive forwards with our own ambitious plans.

“I know that Audrey will be a key player in the direction we take the business and I look forward to working with her closely.”
