Betby expands scope of player props as firm looks to close 2025 on a high
Sportsbook solutions firm Betby has expanded its player props options across some of esports’ most popular titles as it looks to tighten its grip on the sector.
The Malta company will now offer player props markets on titles like Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends and Valorant, covering both pre-match and live betting.
Esports is Betby’s bread and butter, although the firm has been moving into the traditional sports betting space in more recent years, and has been looking at ways to join the dots between the two sectors.
By offering player props, the company aims to ‘bring a new dimension to sports betting’ and deliver a more engaging betting experience to esports contests.
With global esports betting turnover numbering in the billions of dollars, the sector has become more competitive from both a B2B and B2C perspective. Betby may be hoping that its player props enhancement will help it stand out from the crowd.
Kirill Nekrasov, Head of Sportsbook Product at BETBY, said: “Esports audiences are incredibly engaged and data-savvy, they follow players and statistics as closely as the matches themselves.
“By expanding our player props coverage across major titles, we’re giving operators the ability to offer users a more granular and dynamic betting experience, both before the match and live in-play.
“Combined with our already launched H2H markets across all top-tier titles and MVP offerings for major tournaments, this update further strengthens our position as a leading B2B esports solutions provider.”
The expansion follows on from several other updates Betby has made to its product throughout 2025. The firm has also secured several new partnerships this year, such as with Broadway Platform and ESIC.
These developments appear to be paying off, according to a Q3 update from the company which saw gross gaming revenue up 56%, driven by a 25% increase in total bets and a 19.4% increase in active players.
