BETBY increases Brazilian presence via NGX deal

BETBY has strengthened its position in Brazil’s regulated betting market after announcing a new partnership with platform provider NGX.

The deal will further expand the distribution of the Malta-headquartered supplier’s sportsbook technology across Latin America.

Under the terms of the new agreement, BETBY will integrate its full sportsbook solution into NGX’s platform, giving the Brazilian technology provider access to more than 500,000 monthly sporting events alongside a suite of AI-powered trading and engagement tools.

The deal sees NGX add BETBY’s AI Labs, which supports odds compilation, risk management, personalisation and sportsbook operations, as well as Betby Games, the supplier’s proprietary esports product featuring more than 40 titles.

It also includes the new BETBY Predictions product, enabling operators to offer fixed-odds betting markets across entertainment, business, finance, cryptocurrency and cultural events.

“Having strong sportsbook partners is extremely important for us, because our platform is built to support operators in regulated, competitive, and fast-changing markets,” said Alexandre Tauszig, Commercial Director at NGX.

“We were looking for a provider that could match our standards in terms of reliability, flexibility, and product depth, while also bringing a clear innovation mindset to the table.

“As one of the most innovative sportsbook providers in the industry, BETBY fits that vision very naturally, allowing us to offer operators an even more complete and competitive betting portfolio.”

BETBY remains optimistic about Brazil opportunity

The partnership marks another milestone in the firm’s long-term strategy to expand into Brazil – one of Latin America’s largest markets. The company was among the first suppliers to secure certification for its sportsbook ahead of the market’s launch in January 2025, and has continued to solidify its footprint  through partnerships with local technology providers.

Despite ongoing mass debate in Brazil around the sector, with the self-proclaimed “no friend of gambling” President Lula Inácio Lula da Silva now looking to ban online casino, there is still a strong appetite for gambling in the country.

According to Blask, the market is the sixth largest gambling market in the world, generating more than £5bn in revenue in 2025 alone.

By the looks of it, the business has identified a number of significant opportunities within the jurisdiction.

Stefanos Karakidis, Director of Business Development at BETBY, added: “At BETBY, we partner with operators and platforms that share our ambition to raise the standard of sports betting, and NGX does exactly that.

“Their strong position in Brazil and deep understanding of the regulated market make them the ideal partner to extend the reach of BETBY’s industry-leading sportsbook ecosystem, delivering best-in-class technology, innovation, and localized experiences to more operators across the country.”
