Betby promotes Rosaire Galea Cavallaro to bolster senior team

Identifying an objective to bolster its senior team, Betby has taken the decision to promote Sales Manager Rosaire Galea Cavallaro to the position of Head of Sales.

In his new position, Galea Cavallaro will be based in Betby’s Malta head office with the goal of driving its European commercial expansion as well as the growth of its Betby Games esports product range, among other offerings.

Galea Cavallaro remarked: “It’s an honour to be named Head of Sales at Betby. With a hugely ambitious and exciting strategy for 2022, we’ll be focusing on maximising our potential mainly in Europe, while also working on a number of projects internally. It is set to be a special year, and I can’t wait to get started.”

Galea Cavallaro and the wider sales team have been tasked with a further objective of expanding on Betby’s ‘positive commercial year’ in 2022, which saw a number of commercial deals secured across international markets.

Notable developments for the company across 2021 saw the company expand its player prop betting markets inventory by partnering with Digital Sports Tech (DST) and undertaking a series of UX-focused functionality upgrades to its sportsbook with the aim of boosting customer engagement and the quality of its client interface.

“We’re extremely pleased to promote Rosaire to our Head of Sales role,” said Chris Nikolopoulos, Chief Commercial Officer at Betby.

“He’s been the driving force of our Latin American expansion in recent years and it’s great testament to his ability as we continue to grow. We’re always delighted to retain the best talent, and this is something we’re proud to have done with Rosaire.”

In pursuit of its 2022 commercial strategy, Betby entered into two new partnerships in December 2021, recruiting Oddin.gg to enhance its esports trading platform and linking with Groove in order to increase its range of betting options available per event.
