Betcris has entered into nine different sponsorship arrangements with football clubs from the League of Honduras, strengthening its sports marketing approach in the country.
The ninefold business development marks an enhancement of Betcris brand visibility in Latin America, in particular in Honduras where the online sports betting operator already holds the title sponsorship to the aforementioned League of Honduras.
As a result, the League of Honduras’ Motagua, Marathon, Vida, Real España, Real Sociedad, Platense, Victoria, UPNFM and Honduras Progreso will all name Betcris as their sports betting partner.

A company with a strong Latin American focus, Betcris has detailed plans for further expansion in the region, specifically with regards to marketing – the firm intends to expand its local sponsorship operations into sports other than football.
The most recent move Betcris has made in pursuit of this strategy was a partnership with Brazilian clubs Ceará and Fortaleza, both of which compete in the top flight Brasileiro Série A and also make appearances in international tournaments such as the Copa Sudamericana.
Betcris additional partners centred in the Americas include the US’ National Football League (NFL) and Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Mexican Football Federation, Ecuadorian Football Federation and the Liga Pro of Ecuador in Latin America.
Outside of Latin America, the company has also begun to consolidate its position in Europe, having launched in Poland last year before moving to enhance its brand visibility in the country via deals with handball team Lomza VIVE Kielce and volleyball team Asseco Resovia Rzeszow.
