Chuck Robinson, BETER: bringing our portfolio of 700,000 annual fast-paced events to Lisbon

Chuck Robinson, Chief Revenue Officer at BETER.

We sat down with Chuck Robinson, Chief Revenue Officer at BETER, on the eve of the SBC Summit to learn more about what the award-winning provider of fast-betting content will be showcasing at the exhibition at Stand D240.

SBC NewsYou are set to participate in the fast-approaching SBC Summit. As a starting point, could you talk us through what you will be showcasing and how these products will elevate BETER’s offering to new heights?

Chuck Robinson: As always, we will continue to reinforce the increased engagement and profitability of our full suite of fast-betting esports and sports content. This year, BETER will be showcasing its most comprehensive range of content and solutions to date.

Across all disciplines, BETER now delivers approximately 700,000 fast-paced events per year, with up to 50 markets per event and an average operator margin of 7.5%+. We provide all events with 24/7 live streaming, real-time data, and hyper-accurate odds, while our dedicated integrity team thoroughly monitors each one.

Attendees at the event will have the chance to explore our portfolio of world-renowned products, including our latest offerings. Taking centre stage will be our flagship ESportsBattle tournaments, which deliver non-stop betting action across eFootball, eBasketball, eHockey, and eTennis. These disciplines alone account for around 500,000 events per year, and we aim to significantly exceed this number in the coming months.

We also offer a strong sports portfolio, including Setka Cup table tennis tournaments and the BSKT Cup basketball league, which together generate more than 144,000 events annually.

Our sports offering was recently expanded with the GTR Cup tennis series and coverage of official cricket tournaments and leagues worldwide – delegates at SBC Summit will be among the first to experience these new additions.

Moreover, we will be demonstrating our Esports Odds Feed, which provides market-leading odds for more than 450 tournaments globally, covering 40,000 pre-match and live events each year, powered by a team of expert traders.

As for what delegates can expect that is truly new, we will be highlighting our continued product innovations. These include new eTennis tournaments and our upcoming Padel tennis series, which is currently in the final stages of development.

In addition, we will present a new eBasketball tournament – the EuroLeague, as well as our dedicated eFootball tournaments, designed to support the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, as we see such major events significantly driving demand for eFootball.

SBCNBeyond the full suite of products you’re showcasing at SBC Summit, how have the upgrades you introduced recently been received by your operator partners and players?

CROur biggest recent upgrade has been the launch of eTennis as part of our ESportsBattle tournaments, making us the first supplier to introduce a fast-paced eTennis product to the market. The new discipline follows Grand Slam rules, consists of three sets, and currently offers about 700 events per month, each lasting around 40 minutes, with plans to scale to 2,200 events per month by year-end.

What sets eTennis apart is that bettors engage with real-world superstars—such as Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Carlos Alcaraz, and Rafael Nadal—rather than generic avatars. This roster was curated based on sportsbook feedback to ensure recognition and wide appeal. Since its debut, demand among operator partners has been strong and continues to grow, surpassing the uptake seen when we introduced previous esports disciplines.

In our sports offering, we recently expanded into cricket, providing live data and odds from official tournaments and leagues worldwide, encompassing 28,800+ events per year.

Coverage includes marquee events such as the Indian Premier League, ICC World Cup, SA20, and Big Bash League, as well as over 140 additional Tier 1 and Tier 2 leagues and selected Tier 3 and Tier 4 competitions.

Bettors enjoy 24/7 access to formats including ODI, T20, T10, and T5, while operators benefit from stable margins of 7%+, driven by advanced trading models and a data-driven approach.

Moreover, we are already exploring new disciplines based on client feedback and will announce them soon. The most promising additions to our tournament lineup include popular disciplines such as eBaseball and American eFootball.

SBCNIntegrity forms a central component of globally regulated gambling. Could you elaborate on how you approach maintaining these principles, and what recent developments have heightened this?

CR: Integrity is at the core of everything we do at BETER. We uphold fair play through high-level integrity standards maintained 24/7 by a dedicated team led by Andrii Nekrutov, our Chief Integrity and Public Affairs Officer, who brings over 20 years of experience in law enforcement and security.

Our approach is built on six pillars: onboarding, education and prevention, regulation, monitoring, investigation, and prosecution. These pillars have been used to shape our holistic corporate governance, integrity certification system, multi-lingual educational awareness program, our Integrity Incident Database and Integrity Operation Centre, as well as our proprietary whistleblowing platform.

To further strengthen this, we recently launched INTEGRITY+, a digital platform featuring AI-powered tools, educational resources, and reporting functions designed to support athletes and safeguard sports integrity.

It provides accessible, proactive integrity management across all devices. Built around the real needs of modern sports professionals, INTEGRITY+ empowers clean competition and proactive risk management by combining awareness, learning, reporting, and artificial intelligence. It reflects our long-term commitment to building a fairer, safer sporting environment through ethical infrastructure.

We collaborate with law enforcement agencies, sporting bodies, and federations. Recently, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International Betting Integrity Association to strengthen governance and expertise-sharing in detecting suspicious betting. In addition, we joined the Esports Integrity Commission as a Tier 1 Anti-Corruption Supporter and earned ESIC Gold Standard Accreditation.

We run our Integrity BOOTCAMP, a realistic simulation project that provides athletes with the opportunity to practice the skills they have learned from our education program in real-life situations.

Thanks to these comprehensive initiatives, only 0.01% of all matches have been flagged as suspicious over the past 12 months. This achievement has earned us industry recognition, including the Safer Gambling Award at the European iGaming Awards 2025.

SBCN: It is worth noting that while all companies are focused on showcasing their best at exhibitions throughout the year, we should not forget the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup and its significance for the iGaming industry. How important is this event for you as a supplier, and have you already begun preparations?

CR: This is a valuable topic we will be discussing with all attendees at our stand. Major events like the World Cup, EURO, or Copa América consistently drive strong demand for our fast-betting content, particularly our eFootball series.

We conducted in-depth research on the influence of the EURO and Copa América 2024 on our content, and our report revealed an 11.2% increase in unique bettors for eFootball. The next generation of bettors is drawn to fast-betting content for several reasons: they enjoy the fast-paced action and rapid bet settlement—our contests last minutes, not hours—and they run seamlessly on mobile devices.

Availability is another key factor, with contests running around the clock, even during periods of limited real-world sporting action. Our report highlighted that engagement with eFootball peaked on days without live matches and remained high in the days following tournament conclusions.

On match days, the number of bets and average turnover on eFootball increased across all timeslots, with the most significant growth observed in the evening immediately after matches concluded. For example, from 10pm to 11pm, average turnover jumped by 23% and remained elevated for several hours afterward.

Throughout the championships, players showed a heightened interest in eFootball, with total bets increasing by 12.8% and turnover rising by 13.4%. The most popular bet types were Total (55% of betting volume), Result 3-way (23%), and Next Goal (9%, up over 20%).

These insights clearly demonstrate that fast-betting content, especially eFootball, is an ideal product for engaging players during major tournaments. It also provides operators with a powerful tool to maintain bettor engagement even when there is no live on-pitch action. That’s why we have prepared a special offer for those interested in adding our content ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

SBCNWe have seen BETER accredited with several honours in recent times. How do you plan to maintain the momentum moving forward?

CROur plan is simple: to keep doing what we do best – delivering the fast-paced betting experiences most in demand among operators and their players. This year, we’ve already earned major recognition, including Rising Star in Sports Betting at the SBC Awards Europe, and we’re shortlisted in three categories at the upcoming SBC Awards in Lisbon: Esports Supplier of the Year, Live Betting Product, and Sports Data Product. Clearly, we’re on the right track.

Of course, while it’s always an honour to be nominated for and win awards, our true focus is on constantly enhancing our products and solutions. Our goal is to provide the very best fast-betting content to bettors worldwide. By staying true to that mission, I’m confident we’ll not only maintain our momentum but also achieve even greater recognition in the years ahead.
