DATA.BET eyes up new ways to boost player engagement

Sports betting solutions developer DATA.BET has completed yet another product launch as the firm moves to bring what has been a highly active 2025 to a close.

The company announced a new ‘expanded and configurable’ Bet Boost earlier today, with the end goal of enhancing and strengthening operator performance and boosting player engagement.

The Bet Boost feature includes higher odds, which DATA.BET believes will increase the perceived value of bets. The firm is also marketing the product as a promotional tool for project owners which can boost engagement, direct customer behaviour and promote priority events or markets.

“Bet Boost is a powerful engagement engine that supports both operators’ strategy and user
satisfaction,” stated Rostyslav Likhtin, Head of Product at DATA.BET.

“By offering configurable, automated, and targeted bonuses, we provide our partners with a tool that enriches user experience while enabling precise financial and promotional control.”

Bonusing is a complicated discipline in today’s betting landscape. Standards around how operators offer bonuses vary from market-to-market, subject to different regulatory requirements.

In the UK, for example, cross-selling bonuses between sports, casinos and lotteries were prohibited earlier this year under new Gambling Commission requirements, a key recommendation of the review into the 2005 Gambling Act.

DATA.BET has written bonuses into its enhanced Bet Boost product, covering Automatic Boosts, Pre-Generated Boosts, Bet Builder Boosts and Boost Tokens. The firm noted that while each type of boost works differently, supporting engagement and marketing is the end goal for all.

The changes made to DATA.BET’s Bet Boost follows a series of announcements from the company over the past couple of months, such as a deal with Brazil’s Rei do Pitaco and a Nordics-focused partnership with Entain.

Aside from partnerships, DATA.BET has been re-focusing this year. The company’s traditional focus has been on esports, but it is also looking at getting more involved in traditional sports, leveraging its background in the fast-paced esports betting data sector.

Yuri Berest, DATA.BET CEO, told SBC earlier this year that ‘mixing’ will be key to the future of sports and esports betting. “It’s about understanding player behaviour. It’s about building the system that shows you exactly what you expect to see at this very moment,” he said.
