DelaSport secures Romanian market access

Delasport has gained access to the Romanian sports betting and gaming market after securing a Class 2 licence to provide full managed services in the country.

The Gibraltar-based international operator will now be able to supply its Sportsbook iFrame product to Romanian B2C operators, along with a ‘full turnkey solution’ of sports betting, casino, live casino, payments and affiliations, among other offerings.

Additionally, the firm will conduct a fast plug and play implementation of its Sportsbook iFrame solution, which functions as a ‘stand alone, fully functional platform’ offering fully managed services and ‘comprehensive operator control’ over client operations.

“We are rapidly expanding our global reach and entering the Romanian market is a natural step for us,” said Oren Cohen Shwartz, newly appointed CEO of Delasport.

“We are thrilled to be able to provide our high-end sports betting and casino solutions to Romanian sports and casino operators. The Romanian market is growing fast, and there is a real need for quality products. Delasport’s plug & play sportsbook iFrame solution is fully equipped to support its partners to go live fast, thrive and grow.”

The Romanian betting market was first regulated in 2015 and has become a key target of various local and international operators, with SuperBet, Betfair and Kindred Group, among others, establishing footholds in the country.
