Esports Technologies files MOBAs wagering IP
Esports Technologies Inc has filed a new patent application protecting the IP of its modelling system pricing multiplayer esports battle games.
The patent asserts that Esports Technologies has assigned unique systems and methods utilising proprietary statistical tools to represent the exact score distribution of kills in multiplayer online battle arenas (MOBAs).
Applying its modelling system, Esports Technologies underscores that it has enhanced the modelling of probabilities and pricing within esports multiplayer events.
The filing represents the latest addition to Esports Technologies portfolio of proprietary built intellectual property for esports wagering.
In August 2021, the Nasdaq group filed a provisional patent application for a technology that uses artificial intelligence to generate odds models for use in a betting algorithm for esports events and various stages of a tournament.
Further IP developments, saw Esports Technologies file a patent covering a proprietary live streaming technology (June 2021)that integrates sports and esports wagering across many of the most popular streaming platforms, including Twitch, YouTube, Facebook Gaming, and Hulu, among others.
