EveryMatrix agrees sportsbook deal with Merkur Group-owned Betcenter
EveryMatrix has expanded its partnership with the Merkur Group after agreeing a new omnichannel sportsbook deal with Belgian operator Betcenter.
The agreement will see EveryMatrix replace Betcenter’s legacy in-house sportsbook platform with its full technology stack, covering both the operator’s online sportsbook and retail estate.
EveryMatrix will also migrate customer operations and introduce a new front-end designed to deliver a more seamless betting experience across its channels.
Betcenter is one of Belgium’s leading sports betting operators, running more than 50 betting shops alongside its online business.
Its retail network includes around 600 self-service betting terminals (SSBTs) and a further 300 SSBT-light units.
Mathias Dahms, Managing Director of the Sports Betting Division, Merkur Group said: “We have learned to regard EveryMatrix as a reliable and competent partner and look forward to taking the next step with them on this challenging project in Belgium.
“Through this partnership, we will consolidate our market-leading position in Belgium and further expand it with new products.”
EveryMatrix expansion continues
The deal marks EveryMatrix’s second omnichannel agreement with the Merkur Group in 2026.
In March, the supplier announced it would provide sportsbook and casino technology for Merkur’s Cashpoint brand in Denmark, including more than 1,000 betting terminals across 230 retail locations.
The Malta-headquartered firm has been scaling in various avenues of the iGaming industry, having just last month struck a deal with UK newcomer BetAhoy.
It also established its own lottery business arm, having worked with various lottery operators across the world over the last decade, and secured a licence to operate in Alberta.
EveryMatrix Group Co-Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Ebbe Groes, said on the Betcenter deal: “To be able to extend our partnership with Merkur Group in Belgium so soon after agreeing to work with its Cashpoint brand in Denmark is something you rarely see in our industry.
“There has been, and continues to, be an enormous amount of hard work put into both making and delivering these deals on both sides so I’d like to thank the Merkur Group and my own internal EveryMatrix teams for making this a reality.”
