EveryMatrix appoints new lead for LatAm iGaming ambitions

EveryMatrix has begun 2026 with another senior hire, coming shortly after a c-level shakeup of  the igaming technology solutions provider towards the end of last year.

This morning, EveryMatrix announced the appointment of Matias Montero as Managing Director for its operations in Latin America, an increasingly important region for the company and its strategic outlook and profile.

Brazil’s market launch on 1 January 2025 ushered in a new era for Latin American gambling, while other markets like Colombia, Argentina and Peru continue to revise regulatory regimes in 2026.

The hire comes two months after EveryMatrix initiated significant change at the c-level, with Jonas Groes joining his brother, EveryMatrix Co-Founder Ebbe Groes, as co-CEO of the London-founded, Malta-headquartered enterprise.

Montero said:  “I’m thrilled to join the company and timing could not be better with many local and international brands needing to scale up their operations as player volumes and demands for richer experiences increase, regulation continues to evolve and more innovation is required to stand out.

“This is precisely where EveryMatrix comes in with proven turnkey platform technology solutions that consistently generate results for the world’s biggest brands, overcoming operators’ biggest challenges and taking customers to the next level. Everything is possible and I look forward to growing our presence across the region.”

Montero will be based in Buenos Aires – itself one of most important regional markets within Argentina and an area courting international interest from the likes of bet365 and Betway – and will report to Daniel Clark, Group Commercial Director.

EveryMatrix states that it took note of its 20 years experience in iGaming including tenures as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Revenue Officer at Vibra Gaming, a games and platform solutions supplier targeting Latin American markets.

The company’s Latin American focus has been marked by partnership launches and new membership associations over recent years, such as joining the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Betting (CIBELAE) last year.

Clark remarked: “We’re delighted Matias has joined our global commercial team as we grow our presence in Latin America with local expertise across a multitude of disciplines.

“Our approach to market building always starts with engaging the industry’s best and brightest local talent and I’m confident that with Matias’s experience, connections and deep knowledge he will rapidly grow our turnkey platform product offering across territories we have identified as vital to our success.”
