EveryMatrix to supply tech to over 230 of Merkur’s Cashpoint stores

EveryMatrix has signed an omnichannel platform agreement with Danish betting operator and Merkur Group subsidiary Cashpoint.

Under the deal, EveryMatrix will provide its turnkey platform technology to power Cashpoint’s retail and digital betting operations in Denmark. The rollout is expected to go live later this year.

The agreement will see the supplier’s technology deployed across more than 1,000 sports betting terminals located in over 230 shops nationwide. EveryMatrix will also provide its online sportsbook platform and support the launch of an online casino for the brand for the first time, scheduled for the second half of 2026.

As part of the platform migration, Cashpoint will be rebranded as Merkur Bets once the transition is complete.

“This year, Merkur Bets will take another big step forward and take its already successful business in Denmark to a new level by switching to EveryMatrix’ technology and rebranding to Merkur Bets,” said Mathias Dahms, Managing Director of Sportsbetting at Merkur Group.

“In EveryMatrix, we have found the ideal partner to provide us with a powerful technological foundation for our continued growth.”

The operator began searching for a new technology partner in early 2025 with the aim of replacing its in-house system with a modern omnichannel solution capable of supporting both retail and online betting, as well as casino products. The migration is set to be completed in time for the start of the next football season.

EveryMatrix everywhere in 2026

The deal follows another Denmark-focused agreement announced by EveryMatrix in recent months, after state operator Danske Spil selected the supplier to power its casino and bingo offerings.

The business has also expanded into the North American lottery scene as well as securing a South African licence in 2026 so far.
