FSB hires former SkyBet Risk Manager in business development role

Kyle Brady, a former Horse Racing Risk Manager at SkyBet, has joined FSB, as the technology supplier looks to further strengthen its business development team.

The new hire’s primary responsibilities will be to support the FSB pre-sales team as a Pre-Sales Engineer, with the task of ‘orchestrating and illuminating’ the firm’s proprietary technology stack and trading options to new customers and those being onboarded.

In particular, Brady will focus on showcasing the ‘flexibility and optionality’ of FSB’s tech products, notably its range of proprietary trading and risk management tools and its Player Account Management offering.

Ian Freeman, Chief Revenue Officer of FSB, said: “Kyle is another outstanding hire to our growing Business Development team. His top-class, top of the market Tier 1 operator experience with SkyBet and PA adds even more depth, dynamism and passionate expertise to our team.

“After a 2021 characterised by global growth, Kyle’s arrival will help us build on this momentum and propel us forward onto another successful year in 2022. We’re thrilled to have him on board.”

Brady has accumulated 17 years of operational and B2C trading experience whilst at Sky Bet as a Horse Racing Trader, Desk Manager and ultimately Risk Manager, playing a role in developing the Flutter Entertainment brand’s horse racing strategy.

Following his tenure at SkyBet, Brady joined the Press Association (PA) as an Operations Manager, where he continued to focus on horse racing, overseeing the firm’s globalisation of its data services in relation to the sport in territories and emerging markets such as the US, France, South Africa and Chile.

Commenting on his new position, Brady added: “It’s been hard to avoid the giant strides FSB has been making recently so to be offered the opportunity to join this journey was something I couldn’t turn down.

“Having had management roles at Skybet and PA, I’ve been acutely aware of the world-class market-leading proprietary products and services that FSB offer. My job now is to assist in showcasing these empowering products to our steady stream of new clients whilst building strong, cooperative relationships with them. The overall expertise at FSB is clear to see and I’m so excited to join this talented team.”

The appointment of Brady is the second business development recruitment FSB has made in as many months, following on from the hiring of former Sports Information Services (SIS) Digital Sales Manager Andrew Grimshaw as Business Development Director for UK and Europe.

2021 saw several major developments for FSB, as the company moved into its new London-based international headquarters and secured entry into the North American market via a sports betting retail partnership in South Dakota.
