ITP expands ‘presence and influence’ as Ruairi Boyle becomes CCO

Inside The Pocket (ITP) has hired Ruairi Boyle as its new Chief Commercial Officer, who joins from Playtech where he worked at a similar senior commercial capacity.

In an attempt to extend its ‘presence and influence’ throughout the industry, the free-to-play (F2P) aggregation platform explained that the new hire will be responsible for managing ITP’s existing partners.

These include Low6, Incentive Games, Thunderbite, PunditLeague and BOA Gaming, whilst Boyle will also look to secure the expansion of Inside The Pocket’s dedicated F2P skill set into international territories.

Hussain Naqi, Founder and CEO of ITP, stated: “We were naturally delighted Ruairi joined the ITP team ahead of ICE London and I’m pleased to say we’ve hit the ground running ever since. His experience and Rolodex of contacts in sales and business development are second to none.

“I have no doubt he’ll be a true asset to both ITP and all our progressive book of clients, as we bid to broaden our global footprint. Consequently, it’s a timely moment for new partners to discover how a single integration with ITP can open up the entire free-to-play marketplace.”

At Playtech, Ireland-born Boyle held the position of Commercial Director for seven years, where he has been described to have ‘diligently built the brand’s reputation in global gaming markets’. The firm praised his ‘eye for strategy and new sales’ across digital and land-based international markets.

He is also an industry veteran across decision-making roles at brands such as Ladbrokes, Genting and BoyleSports where he utilised strategy, commercial negotiations and product planning in a bid to enhance sports betting engagement.

On his appointment, Boyle added: “I’ve always based my business relationships on the ability to add value. Working with Hussain at ITP, I’ve already been hugely impressed by the technical excellence of the games assembled, while we are currently benefiting from massive momentum across the industry from data provider, to sportsbooks, to platform, and to operators.

ICE London provided early consolidation of that fact. I’m absolutely thrilled with our pipeline, alongside our combined contacts in the sports and sports betting space. ITP are trusted, respected and on a tear. I can’t back a stronger story than that.”
