Kambi acquires PAM source code from OMEGA Systems

Kambi Group has acquired the OMEGA Systems’ source code for its Turnkey Sportsbook, vastly improving its commercial opportunities.

The strategic move will enable Kambi to develop its own Player Account Management (PAM) solution in-house, powering up its product suite. New commercial landscapes will first open up in Nevada, and later roll across other jurisdictions where PAM options are limited.

Werner Becher, Kambi CEO, said: “Kambi is already the trusted home of premium sports betting solutions, and this acquisition reinforces that leadership position.

“By offering an in-house PAM solution, we’re enhancing our Turnkey Sportsbook, opening up new commercial opportunities and expanding our ability to deliver a fully integrated, best-in-class solution to operators worldwide.”

PAM is crucial for all sportsbook operators, allowing for central management of every aspect of player interactions, such as onboarding, ID verification, and payment processing.

The newly-acquired source code will also allow Kambi to expand into casino aggregation, which PAM also supports.

Development of Kambi’s proprietary PAM tool will commence immediately, followed by licensing submission in relevant jurisdictions and continue further work with its partnership network.

Jim Godsell, OMEGA Systems Founder and CEO, added: “Over the years OMEGA and Kambi have provided combined solutions to Operators in multiple jurisdictions.

“This acquisition allows Kambi to build on the OMEGA base PAM and enter into new markets quickly. As is the case with other OMEGA licensees, Kambi is “Taking Control” of its PAM solution.”
