Low6 becomes the supplier of the Official PGA TOUR Free-To-Play Game

Low6 has been named as the supplier of the Official PGA TOUR Free-To-Play Game , which will be presented exclusively by PointsBet

Strengthening Low6’s presence across the US market, the free-to-play game has been designed to enhance fan engagement through live in-play games with weekly prizes.

Jamie Mitchell, Low6 co-founder and CEO, commented: “We are delighted to be working with the PGA TOUR and PointsBet as the supplier of the official free-to-play picks game.

“This project is a key part of Low6’s expansion in North America. We look forward to developing the game with PGA TOUR and PointsBet ahead of its January 2022 launch.”

Throughout the soon-to-be-released game, bettors can enter the game at nearly any point during a tournament week with the points system directly tied to live odds. Players can compete for cash prizes in games such as outright winner, top-10 and top-30.

“This announcement highlights our position as a world leader in developing innovative digital sports games,” added Jake Johnson, Low6 Chief Operating Officer.

“This new free-to-play game will greatly enhance the weekly tournament experience for golf fans, and we look forward to seeing users engage with it next year. In the meantime, technical development is underway, and we will be sharing more game specific details in the coming months.”

The partnership came about following a three-year extension to PointsBet’s content and marketing relationship with the PGA Tour.

Chris Hector, Low6 Commercial Director, continued: “We are excited to play our part in getting fans closer to the on-course action through this engaging and competitive free-to-play picks game. Our team is relishing the opportunity to showcase what we can do now to the U.S. market.”

As part of the expanded relationship, PointsBet’s live betting odds integrations will be featured on PGA TOUR linear and streaming broadcasts on GOLF Channel and Peacock with plans to include on the NBC broadcast in the future.

“We’re excited to continue working with PointsBet to create innovative sports betting and free-to-play products for PGA TOUR fans,” said Norb Gambuzza, PGA TOUR Senior Vice President, Media and Gaming.

“PointsBet’s golf products continue to experience tremendous growth, and its support of our free-to-play game with Low6 will provide our fans the option to experience exciting in-play games in a free-to-play environment.”
