Parimatch links with Oleksandr Usyk in responsible gaming tie-up

Parimatch Tech has further strengthened its portfolio of major sports partners, signing a responsible gaming agreement with Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk.

As a result of the new partnership, the undefeated heavyweight fighter from Simferopol, Crimea will become the operator’s first brand ambassador for its Responsible Gaming Project. 

The sports betting and gaming tech developer has reiterated its commitment to following global trends in developing responsible gambling principles’ and associated tools to assist players with their decision making. 

Additionally, the company plans to conduct educational events for clients and raise community awareness about gambling in the community.

“As market leaders in the CIS and a responsible business, we are championing the move towards responsible gambling,” said Parimatch Tech Co-CEO Maksym Liashko.

“Our team will advance the Responsible Gambling Project in development, analytics, and communication with clients. We are confident that the partnership with Oleksandr will take our initiatives to a new level and help Parimatch spread knowledge about responsible gambling among players worldwide.”

The deal represents a further enhancement of Parimatch’s sports affiliations, having recently struck agreements with three Premier League clubsAston Villa, Brighton and Hove Albion and Southampton – whilst also renewing its deals with Everton and Leicester City and linking with Chelsea.

Additionally, the company has reiterated its commitment to its ongoing partnership with Juventus of Serie A, detailing plans for ‘exciting campaigns’ throughout the remainder of the 2021/22 season.

Usyk remarked: “Willpower, intrinsic motivation and self-control are the key elements for victory. The same goes for gambling: it is important to stay mindful while gambling, to understand that this is just a way to have fun and get positive emotions, and you can always pause if necessary.
