Planet Sport has moved to enhance its cross-sell opportunities between sports betting and casino by integrating its video sports content and odds streams into its live casino offering.
Detailing an ambition to maintain and strengthen engagement ‘between each bet’, the Leeds-based B2C and B2B sports media group has announced the launch of its Planet Vision platform.
The company hopes that this will enable operators to maintain brand engagement with their customers and provide a cross-sell opportunity between live casino and sportsbook products, with full control over the displayed content handed over to operators.
Mike Grenham, Managing Director of Betting at Planet Sport, remarked: “We are delighted to be officially launching Planet Vision, a cutting-edge product that allows operators to better engage live casino players and drive cross-sell between their casino and sportsbook.
“We have given a few sneak peeks of Planet Vision at recent trade shows and the feedback has been incredible. Operators can instantly see the added value it provides the player and also how it can help them to unlock even greater LTVs.”
By introducing its Planet Vision product, Planet Sport aims to allow casino players to keep updated with match highlights, sports content and the latest odds and markets presented by whichever operator they are gaming with.
The firm’s new offering will feature content from sources including YouTube, Vimeo and RSS integrated into live casino games presentations placed behind the dealer or host, with the goal of bridging the gap between casino and sports betting.
Dean Rayson, Head of B2B Betting Sales at Planet Sport, said: “Planet Vision offers the ability to stream content for any type of sport the operator wants which means we can deliver different feeds to different territories helping operators localise their live casino products.
“Not only that, but they can take engagement and session times to new highs and then also drive live casino players to their sportsbooks at scale. Planet Vision is a game changing product with plenty of scope for further development, which is exactly what we have in mind.”
In a bid to strengthen its digital sports offering, Planet Sport merged with fellow Leeds-headquartered sports media firm YorMedia Solutions in July of this year, taking ownership of the latter’s take ownership of flagship Football365 and TEAMtalk online football communities.
