Pretty Technical builds on remote success with Emma Blaylock hire

Pretty Technical has appointed Emma Blaylock as Chief Executive Officer, in a bid to ‘accelerate’ the firm’s products and services.

Blaylock joins the company from within the Rokker Network, with her most recent role on the Senior Consulting Team as Head of Rokker Advisory at Rokker.

Described as a business strategist, the new hire practised formal management consultancy at her time with Deloitte and strategic investments, acquisitions and cross-group business development at Sony’s Corporate Development and M&A group.

Commenting on her appointment to CEO, Blaylock stated: “I am honoured to join Pretty Technical and look forward to working closely with the highly talented Pretty Technical team to deliver our world class technology products and services to our clients.

“I want to thank Andre, Andy and the board for trusting me with this opportunity to continue driving Pretty Technical’s growth trajectory to become the leading global technology provider of curated solutions for the iGaming space.”

Following seven years in Management Consulting and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University in Chicago, she joined Amazon’s Kindle e-reading subsidiary and delivered initiatives to launch and grow the brand in the UK whilst also supporting launches in France, Germany, and Spain.

Additionally, Blaylock will also look to utilise her career in technology and business strategy to support Pretty Technical and its clients in delivering a strong service.

Pretty Technical’s Founder, Andre Marenke, added: “Emma’s appointment is a clear message that we are committed to further developing the business in line with our strategic plan and to build on the success of our first 2 years as a fully remote technology provider in the gambling industry.

“Emma’s experience in strategic growth, financial development and leadership of technology businesses will have an immediate positive impact on Pretty Technical’s future. Personally, I am delighted to be able to support her vision as part of the technical leadership going forward.”

Last year, the enterprise further bolstered its leadership team after confirming that Jason Moodley would become the company’s new Technical Compliance Manager.

In this role, Moodley now helps Pretty Technical to navigate “the increasingly complex space” within iGaming by drawing upon his experience in certification product management, jurisdictional management and QA compliance management.
