Raketech secures new US vision completing ATS buyout

Raketech Plc has significantly expanded it’s US wagering media and affiliate publishing network, completing its acquisition of ATS Consultants for $15.5 million.

Announced on 9 November, the transformative deal will see Raketech take control of ATS North American sports portfolio, which includes the leading tipster communities of Winnersandwhiners.com, as well as Statsalt.com and Pickpapa.com. 

The agreed purchase price for the deal was $15.5 million on a cash and debt-free basis, with $12 million being paid in cash on closing and a further $1 million six months post-closing. A further $2.5 million will be settled through the issuance of Raketech shares with a 36-month lock-up period.

Further operational benefits will see Raktech incorporating ATS workforce of 20 experts reporting on US sports and wagering from the firm’s headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland.  

ATS’ inventory will be upgraded with Raketech’s proprietary affiliate marketing systems and architectures to improve its assets sales and commercial performance.

Completing its US acquisition, Raketech’s enlarged network ‘is expected to reach over EUR 50m in annual revenue with an EBITDA margin exceeding 40%.’

As a matter of fact, with this acquisition, over 20% of our revenues is expected from the US already during Q1 of next year, putting us in a good position in the rapidly growing US market.
