ReferOn announces Evolution Cohort in first of two major rollouts
Affiliate management platform ReferOn has taken another step forward in its journey to make the most out of data solutions and emerging technologies.
The Cyprus-based company has announced a new product, Evolution Cohort, an analysis framework designed for player value, retention and monetisation.
For ReferOn, this marks another step in its mission to achieve what it calls ‘deep cohort intelligence’ by making advanced moves beyond traditional reporting.
The firm has developed Evolution Cohort with the goal of analysing data to identify partners behind aggregated tools, such as spotting which data cohorts peak early, which ones sustain long-term value, and which decline prematurely.
“The era of ‘detective work’ in affiliate marketing is over,” said Vlad Bondarenko, Head of Product at ReferOn.
“Most platforms just dump data on you and leave you to figure it out in a chaotic and messy spreadsheet. Evolution Cohort changes the game because it actually interprets the momentum of your business.
“The ReferOn team didn’t build this to help you report on the past — it’s so we can help you own the future. Affiliate managers who aren’t seeing how value is evolving in real-time are just guessing. And guessing can be costly.”
The launch of Evolution Cohort is the first of two product rollouts planned by ReferOn. This phase will focus on time-based evolution, while later launches will look at behavioural and performance-based logic.
ReferOn has been eyeing up new technologies and data functions for some time, with a number of developments completed and products launched last year.
In December the company launched Personal Access Tokens (PAT), a solution designed to help its clients authenticate with the company’s APIs. The move marked an expansion into tokenisation.
Prior launches focused heavily around AI. In November it launched MCP (Model Context Protocol), a new open standard which assists with connection to the ReferOn platform – similar to the PAT initiative discussed above.
