Seema Padman named General Manager at Flutter India

Flutter Entertainment remains invested in India even after it was forced to withdraw its Junglee division following a government clampdown on real money games in 2025.

The NYSE-listed gambling international retains a major $3.5m high-tech IT hub in Hyderabad, which it opened back in 2024 to support its global operations.

Still operating at full capacity, the Global Capability Centre (GCC) has just named Seema Padman as its new General Manager to lead the hub through its next growth phase.

Padman joined the GCC as a People Leader when it was first opened in 2024. She helped scale the hub to more than 1,000 staff, contributing to resource management strategies and identifying high-priority targets.

In her new role, she will continue working with Flutter leadership to strengthen delivery for the firm’s brands while fostering a high-performance culture.

Padman will also step up her contributions to developing Flutter Edge, the Group’s combined technology, product, talent and global scale strategy that builds competitive advantage.

Prior to joining Flutter India, Padman built more than two decades of experience across technology, pharmaceuticals and retail. She previously served as the Senior Vice President of HR for multiple international markets at Epsilon. She’s also had past experience working at AstraZeneca.

Padman’s educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Personnel Management and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management.

Commenting on her new chapter with Flutter, she said: “I’ve seen first-hand the depth of talent, capability and ambition within the Hyderabad GCC.

“I’m looking forward to bringing those strengths together and working with our leaders to create an environment where both our people and our business can thrive. I’m excited about the opportunity ahead, and about the contribution Hyderabad can make to Flutter’s global organisation.”
