SIS bolsters esports offering as 24/7 CS:GO product launched
SIS (Sports Information Services) has strengthened its Competitive Gaming portfolio, as its 24/7 Counter Strike (CS:GO) esports betting product makes market entry.
The new offering will be broadcast across two 24/7 streams, with plans for distribution of an initial 25,000 CS:GO events per year, designed specifically for wagering purposes covering both pre-match and in-play markets.
Additionally, SIS has incorporated an end-to-end solution of ‘ultra low latency live streaming’ into the offering, along with on-screen graphics, live commentary and betting prompts such as form, player stats and results.
Adam Conway, Head of Competitive Gaming at SIS, said: “We are very pleased to announce the launch of our 24/7 CS:GO esports product, which has been designed for betting, and provides a best-in-class, high integrity, high-quality product that delivers round-the-clock betting opportunities for the most popular esports title in the world.
“We are confident that our top-quality CS:GO product will help deliver superior margins for our operator partners, as had been the case with our existing sports sims titles.”
Each of the 2v2 CS:GO contests will be monitored and controlled by SIS for integrity purposes and to ensure high-competitivity. Tournament referees will also be provided with ESIC-based training to oversee games and communicate with operators and traders.
Odds for the multichannel live betting services supplier’s CS:GO offering have been provided by esports wagering firm Oddin.gg, which first partnered with the firm for development of the product back in March.
Commenting at the time, Marek Suchar, Oddin.gg Co-Founder and MD Partnerships, stated: “SIS Competitive Gaming has proven to be an important content vertical for operators and bettors around the world and we believe the addition of 2v2 CS:GO will significantly expand the existing audience by attracting a new generation of bettors.”
The launch of the product marks a further enhancement of SIS’ operations in esports betting to over 150,000 events, with the firm’s Competitive Gaming suite so far including efootball and ebaksetball.
