Sportradar increases data support for Polymarket

Sportstech and data firm Sportradar has expanded its agreement with predictions market platform Polymarket to include premium data, streaming and integrity services from more than 20 sports leagues.

Through the contractual expansion, Polymarket can now supply its US customer base with extended access to a number of high-profile global sports competitions, such as the Bundesliga, European basketball, tennis Grand Slams, and more.

This is in addition to the already existing contract between Sportradar and Polymarket, which includes the ATP Tour, Major League Baseball (MLB), National Hockey League (NHL), Major League Soccer (MLS), and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Carsten Koerl, Chief Executive Officer of Sportradar, said: “We are pleased to deepen our partnership with Polymarket extending our data and solutions across a significantly broader portfolio of sports.

“Prediction markets represent a compelling adjacent growth opportunity and Sportradar is cementing its role as the foundational infrastructure powering this ecosystem.

“We look forward to expanding on this foundation with Polymarket as the category continues to develop.”

Polymarket taps into a vast range of data products and solutions on offer from Sportradar, such as pre-game and in-play live odds, audiovisual content, fan engagement tools, marketing services, and an in-house integrity service that monitors suspicious behaviour.

Ari Borod, President of Sports Business Development at Polymarket, added: “Expanding our relationship with Sportradar across more than 20 leagues and competitions gives Polymarket access to premium sports data, live content and integrity services at an unprecedented scale.

“We’re excited to continue building on this partnership as we expand our sports offering.”

Sportradar is also a partner of Polymarket’s biggest global competitor Kalshi, which makes the tech data provider unprecedentedly close to the prediction markets space.

Following the signing of both contracts, Sportradar reported 19% higher revenue in Q2 (€378m) when compared to the same period last year, with Adjusted EBITDA also up 19% YoY to €76m.
