Stats Perform has made three updates to its PressBox sports media offering, as it seeks to meet the demands of modern sports fans.
Unveiling the enhancements yesterday at its ‘Moments That Matter’ showcase exposition, the London-based sportsech and data firm announced updates to the PressBox Live, PressBox Graphics and PressBox Video verticals.
The key focus of the firm’s adaptations is to enable greater access to data, historical context, and mobile content creation solutions on an integrated platform for sports stakeholders, such as bookmakers, media publishers and broadcasters.
“There is nothing else on the market that matches the capabilities of the PressBox platform,” said Paul Every, Vice President of Product at Stats Perform.
“We know the modern-day fan wants timely, relevant, quick, and easy to consume content. We know that media publications are in the race to capture loyal viewers. No one knows fan engagements better than Stats Perform.”
AI has played a key role in the innovations, leveraged to expand the depth of sports data, as Stats Perform seeks to simplify workflows and enable greater access to the assets sports media content creators need to engage sports fans.
In particular, PressBox Live has been bolstered with NFL and NCAA American football content, as well as enhanced contextualised insights via a live data stream and direct access to Stat Perform’s data editorial team for fast data and insights.
Additionally, the key update to PressBox Graphics has been the launch of its mobile app. This allows creators to leverage data and create and amplify content by sharing with colleagues, influencer networks, athlete groups and sports fans.
Finally, PressBox Video’s in-platform editing capabilities have been updated, including increased access to global sports video content and a new pay-as-you-go premium sports video plan.
Nancy Hensley, Chief Product and Marketing Officer at Stats Perform, remarked: “PressBox is the platform for sports media content creators to deliver the best experiences to sports fans,
“With this offering, Stats Perform continues to drive transformative value and lead industry innovation in its ability to capture the moments that matter most to modern-day sports fans.”
The enhancements follow on from the launch of Stats Perform’s Opta Vision data feeds product earlier this month, developed to bolster performance insights for sports teams and improve storyline generation for publishers and broadcasters.
