STS applies Mentor to comprehensively monitor player engagements

STS Group has achieved a major technology and responsible gambling objective launching ‘Mentor’ its new player behavioural monitoring solution.

Developed by independent engineering studio Neccton – Mentor will be initially applied across STS’s UK online gambling inventory to monitor customer engagements.

A 15-year specialist in player security for online gambling, Neccton has developed Mentor to be the most comprehensive and market-compliant player monitoring tool.

The monitoring solution recognises triggers such as a significant increase in deposit frequency, alerting operator teams and directly contacting the player, Mentor further provides customised feedback for players to make better-informed decisions about their playing habits.

STS President Mateusz Juroszek outlined that the use of Mentor would be shortly applied across its home market of Poland – in which STS accounts for more than 50% of market share.

Juroszek remarked: “We are proud to introduce another tool that takes STS to a higher level in terms of implementing responsible gaming.

“Thanks to this, we are once again setting market trends in the field of responsible gaming. As a socially responsible operator, we want to be as sure as possible that our users have full control over their game.”

“Both our application and the website provide players with key knowledge about it, as well as a number of tools enabling behaviour control and self-limiting within the game”

Mentor’s solution will be supported by STS revamped customer care unit that is formed of “a 24/7 team of consultants available to customers and a separate team of RG specialists who at STS are involved in picking up signals that indicate a player’s potentially unhealthy approach to betting”.

Neccton praised STS for placing its solution and responsible gambling at the forefront of its expansion across new markets.

STS joins Napoleon Sports, Casumo, ComeOn and Play North as operators that have revamped their player monitoring capacities using Neccton solutions.

Neccton director and head of development Dr Michael Auer said – “We started our research in gambling 15 years ago and have published multiple academic studies in the area of player tracking and responsible gaming,”

“We have shown that players who gamble responsibly are more loyal, and their customer lifetime is significantly longer. We are proud to assist millions of players across dozens of brands across the world. ”
