Thunderpick partners with Oddin.gg to roll out BetPeek viewing platform
Esports betting operator Thunderpick has teamed up with supplier Oddin.gg to debut BetPeek, a new feature that gives viewers far more control over how they watch competitive gaming.
The tool, which is available exclusively on Thunderpick.io, moves away from the fixed broadcast style that dominates most esports streams. Instead, BetPeek lets users pick and choose how they follow the action.
The companies outlined that customers can switch between player points of view, move cameras around the map, enable x-ray vision for tactical insight, and rewind or pause to revisit key plays. Betting data is built into the experience, providing additional context when assessing momentum shifts or player performance.
Kelly Sanders, Head of Strategy at Thunderpick, said the launch was about responding to a gap in the current market.
“Traditional esports streams have barely evolved; they’re often one-size-fits-all broadcasts that leave fans wishing for more control. BetPeek completely changes that.
“By putting fans in the driver’s seat, we’re delivering an esports experience that’s not just more engaging, but truly revolutionary for bettors and spectators alike.”
By offering a more interactive feed, Thunderpick aims to appeal both to casual fans and to bettors who want a clearer view of what is happening in a match.
Building on Oddin.gg’s philosophy
The partnership highlights Oddin.gg’s wider view on how esports betting should be developed. Last month, speaking to SBC News, Marek Suchar, Co-founder and Managing Director, stressed that treating esports like traditional sports betting is a mistake, given the fast-changing nature of the games themselves.
“Esports is not football or tennis. It’s a set of constantly evolving digital worlds, each requiring unique expertise, infrastructure, and risk controls,” Suchar explained. “That is why building a profitable esports betting product is one of the toughest tasks in the betting industry today.
He added that many providers stop at producing odds feeds, which only send data one way into the market. That leaves operators exposed if a game update or patch disrupts models without being noticed quickly. Oddin.gg instead uses real-time risk management, turning betting slips into feedback that allows lines to be refined instantly.
This approach underpins BetPeek’s design, combining Oddin.gg’s focus on adaptability with Thunderpick’s ambition to stand out in a crowded esports betting landscape. Both companies argue the collaboration reflects the need for products that go beyond static feeds and provide interactive tools for both operators and their players.
