Prize draw business PrizeKings has secured strategic investment from Vyking Ventures, the investment of iGaming platform provider Vyking.

Atlanta-headquartered PrizeKings intends to use the investment to grow its operations and brand across South Africa and the UK, the latter being a particularly well established market for prize draws.

South Africa has been marked as the first core market for the company, with the UK its secondary option – though the firm asserts that the European nation forms part of its wider international growth strategy.

For Cyprus-based Vyking, the company has identified PrizeKings as a brand which closely aligns with its own experience in iGaming, crypto-native infrastructure, platform engineering, and player-led entertainment models.

Key synergies identified by Vyking include PrizeKings’ leadership’s experience of building, scaling and operating in regulated environments, and its operational discipline in the prize draws sector.

The company states that it is backing companies which sit at the intersection of gaming, technology and next-generation gaming.
