Malta Showcases a Unified Gaming Ecosystem at ICE Barcelona 2026
Malta is presenting its gaming jurisdiction at ICE Barcelona through a new, coordinated concept designed to reflect how the ecosystem operates in practice.
Under the ‘Make it in Malta’ banner, the Malta Gaming Authority will be joined by GamingMalta, Identità, Malta Enterprise, and Bank of Valletta at ICE Barcelona 2026.
The objective is to present Malta’s fully integrated gaming ecosystem, demonstrating how licensing and regulation, investment support, visa and identity services, and banking come together within a mature and well established jurisdiction.

Charles Mizzi, CEO of the MGA, said: “Our aim is to continue positioning Malta as the jurisdiction of choice for operators who value stability, clarity, and long term partnership. Through this coordinated presence, we are demonstrating the strength of our ecosystem and our commitment to supporting sustainable growth across the industry.”
Throughout ICE 2026, representatives will be meeting industry stakeholders, sharing insights, and highlighting the initiatives reinforcing Malta’s position as a resilient, forward looking jurisdiction.
ICE 2026 is taking place in Barcelona from 19 to 21 January at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, welcoming more than 63,783 visitors, 589 global exhibitors, 294 verified regulators, and 196 speakers from across 186 countries.
