MGA to exhibit at SBC Summit Lisbon for the first time under the Make It In Malta banner
The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) will exhibit at SBC Summit Lisbon 2026 for the first time, bringing Malta’s gaming ecosystem to one of the industry’s largest international gatherings under the ‘Make It In Malta’ banner.
Following its introduction at ICE Barcelona earlier this year, ‘Make It In Malta’ will now make its SBC Lisbon debut, bringing together the MGA, GamingMalta, Identità, Malta Enterprise and Bank of Valletta (BOV) to showcase the ecosystem supporting gaming businesses establishing and operating in Malta.

The concept moves beyond a standalone regulatory presence, reflecting the breadth of services and infrastructure that underpin Malta’s gaming sector. Together, the participating entities represent key areas spanning regulation, business and investment support, visa and identity services, and banking, providing gaming businesses with access to support throughout their journey – from establishing a presence in Malta to their ongoing operations and growth. Taking place from 29 September to 1 October at Feira Internacional de Lisboa, SBC Summit Lisbon is one of the industry’s key international gatherings, bringing together operators, suppliers, regulators, and service providers from across the global gaming sector.
MGA Chief Executive Officer Charles Mizzi said:
“Our first exhibition at SBC Summit Lisbon gives us another important platform to engage directly with the international gaming community and, crucially, to do so as part of the wider Maltese ecosystem.
“Effective regulation remains at the heart of Malta’s gaming proposition, but the strength of the jurisdiction extends well beyond regulation alone. Over the years, a mature ecosystem of expertise, infrastructure and support services has developed around the sector, supporting businesses at every stage of their journey.
“Through Make It In Malta, we are bringing these different elements together and presenting a fuller picture of what Malta offers to gaming businesses looking to establish, operate and grow from the jurisdiction.” Throughout SBC Summit Lisbon 2026, representatives from the MGA and participating organisations will engage with industry stakeholders, exchange insights, and showcase the different components of Malta’s gaming ecosystem.”
The Make It In Malta stand will be located in Hall 2, Booth B251.
Meetings with the MGA or any of the participating entities may be booked here.
