In October 2021, the Malta Gaming Authority (‘MGA’ or ‘Authority’) invited the gaming industry, service providers as well as wider interest groups to express their views and provide feedback in relation to the Revised Audit Service Provider Guidelines (‘Guidelines’). Following the closure of the consultation on 17 December 2021, the Authority has been analysing the responses received during the process in order to develop the final Guidelines in line with the evidence brought forward.

The MGA intends to publish the final version of the Guidelines and any other supporting documents by the end of Q2 2022.
