Better Collective appoints Adam Rosenberg to coordinate US marketing strategy

Adam Rosenberg has been appointed as Better Collective’s Head of Marketing & Communications for its US operations, as of 14 February 2022.

In his new position, Rosenberg will coordinate the sports betting media group’s PR and marketing team with a US focus, tasked with the objective of driving and coordinating its branding efforts towards the burgeoning stateside betting and gaming market.

This will see the new hire work to establish a local communications team to focus on US branding for Better Collective, leveraging his experience in digital marketing, branding and communication in the sports betting, esports and technology sectors.

“This is a dream opportunity for me as an avid (and unapologetic) Philly sports fan and member of the growing online sports betting community,” Rosenberg remarked.

“Sports betting isn’t going anywhere and with more US states bringing legalised mobile sports betting online this year, more and more sports fans will be able to mix art and science in making their picks. I am thrilled to be joining Better Collective’s family of brands  and eager to get in the room and get to work.”

Based in Copenhagen and listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm stock exchange, Better Collective has been ramping up its US efforts in the years following the repeal of PASPA in 2018, as the North American market grows at a rapid rate.

The company’s stateside strategy has so far seen it conduct extensive M&A, notably acquiring the Action Network for $12 million in October of last year and securing a 40% stake in the RotoGrinders Network the following month, whilst also partnering with the New York Post in the new year.

Speaking to SBC News, Better Collective CEO Marc Pedersen explained that the firm has ‘great plans’ for the American market, intending to expand its position within both ‘existing and new states’.

Commenting on Rosenberg’s US-facing appointment, Pedersen said: “It is great for Better Collective US to get Adam onboard. He has the skills and experience we are looking for to support our continued strong growth in the US market and to increase the awareness about our many strong US brands including Action Network, Vegas Insider, US Bets and Sports Handle. I look forward to welcoming him.”
