Dan D’Arrigo joins Gambling.com to oversee auditing and nominations
Dan D’Arrigo has joined the Board of Directors at Gambling.com, conducting oversight of its auditing, nominations and governance.
His appointment became effective following the firm’s successful completion of an initial public offering on the Nasdaq Global Market on 27 July.
The new appointee will serve as Chairperson of the Nominating & Governance Committee and as a member of the Audit Committee.
Charles Gillespie, CEO and Co-Founder of Gambling.com Group, also commented: “Dan has extensive experience as the CFO of a publicly-traded S&P 500 casino and hospitality company which will be an enormous asset to the management team at Gambling.com Group, and he is a timely addition as we begin our journey as a publicly-traded company in the United States.”
D’Arrigo has accumulated an extensive resume during his time spent working at MGM Resorts International from 2007 to 2019, having assisted with the establishment of BetMGM whilst serving as the Executive Vice President and CFO.
Additionally, he was also responsible for leading the IPO of MGM China Holdings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2011 and the IPO of MGM Growth Properties on the New York Stock Exchange in 2016.
His career with MGM has also seen him hold corporate responsibilities on the Board of Directors of MGM China Holdings from 2011 to 2019 as well as serving on the company’s Audit Committee from 2014 to 2019.
A graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Accounting, D’Arrigo also held a range of finance and management roles at MGM between 1995 and 2007, overseeing the $6.4 billion acquisition of Mirage Resorts in 2000 and the $7.3 billion acquisition of Mandalay Resorts Group in 2005.
