DATA.BET takes a step forward in Brazil via Rei do Pitaco

Brazilian sports gaming brand Rei do Pitaco (RDP) is eyeing up an expansion of its prospects in the local sports betting market.

The firm has partnered with DATA.BET, an international B2B solutions firm specialising in betting solutions, particularly around esports, to support its ambitions.

Esports betting is hugely popular in Brazil, with esports in general widely followed in the country – in fact it is the largest esports market in Latin America.

Christian Eider, VP Sportsbook at RDP, comments: “At Rei do Pitaco, we are committed to building the most innovative and reliable sportsbook experience, always focusing on product excellence.

“Rei do Pitaco combines proprietary technology and high-performance infrastructure to deliver fast, intuitive, and highly engaging experiences. DATA.BET aligns perfectly with this vision, making them an excellent fit for our long-term goals.

“Their esports solution and odds feed are industry-leading, supported by exceptional flexibility and customer service. With Brazil’s esports landscape expanding rapidly, this partnership positions us to deliver a best-in-class product for our users.”

To capitalise on local demand for esports, RDP will leverage DATA,BET’s esports package encompassing an odds feed, bet builder, widgets, and a catalogue of over 30 different esports disciplines and 10,000 monthly events.

Featured titles include Counter Strike 2, Dota 2, Valorant, League of Legend and Rainbow Six, among others. Coverage has been tailored with the Brazilian audience in mind.

Latin America’s largest nation is home to its largest esports scene, with estimates putting the number of esports fans in the country at around 30 million. The launch of the ‘Bets’ licensed betting market in January this year has presented a lucrative opportunity for companies to join the dots.

For B2B firms like DATA.BET, the growing Brazilian betting market and local enthusiasm for esports provides an equally lucrative opportunity – while on a wider scale the company expects esports enthusiasm to carry on growing over the coming years, as explained to SBC in Lisbon in September.

“This partnership is about depth and reliability at scale,” said Otto Bonning, Head of Sales at DATA.BET. “We’re bringing RDP an esports layer that’s rich in content and strong on risk so they can deliver consistent margins and an outstanding user experience.

“Our teams are aligned on a clear roadmap to grow RDP’s esports offering across Brazil.”
