Virtual sports supplier GlobalBet has entered into an agreement with Eurobet, an Italian market subsidiary of the international Entain group.
The agreement will see GlobalBet provide Eurobet with its flagship Virtual Football PRO product and ADM licenced products across both online and retail verticals – with the latter covering multiple locations throughout Italy.
Developed by GlobalBet’s in-house team, the virtual products are created using algorithms and animation tools such as motion capture and 3D graphics to generate a “real-life feeling” and replicate real word football events, stadiums and athletes, with added commentary.
“We are very excited about our partnership with GlobalBet,” said Eurobet’s Head of Sportsbook and Trading, Federico Spescha.
“Our aim is to enhance our virtual sports offering with the advanced visuals on the market, this is the main reason we wanted GlobalBet’s lifelike products in our virtual portfolio.”
As well as enhancing Eurobet’s suite of virtual offerings for its Italian consumers, the agreement is also of major commercial significance for GlobalBet.
The firm has detailed a long-term ambition to become a leading market player in Italy, offering its customised virtual portfolio which covers 15 different sports as well as featuring number games.
GlobalBet’s CEO, Daniel Grabher, explained that there is an increased demand in Italy for virtual sports and betting solution products, mainly as a result of the sporadic suspension of real-world sports activities from 2020 due to the pandemic.
