FDJ’s ParionsSport extends legacy with Olympique de Marseille
ParionsSport en Ligne, has renewed its partnership with Ligue-1 football club Olympique de Marseille.
Under Francaise des Jeux (FDJ), ParionsSport has been a partner of l’OM since 2018, and the renewal will bring this deal to a total of 10 years when it expires in 2028 – marking the football club’s longest-running commercial agreement.
In the 2024/25 season, Olympique managed to finish second in the French Ligue 1 and therefore securing a return to the UEFA Champions League, for Southern France’s most historic club.
This led to a series of successful fan-focused collaborations supported by ParionsSport en Ligne, which included digital activations, promotional campaigns and engagement initiatives.
Entering their eighth season of partnership, ParionsSport and Olympique de Marseille will provide fans with even more opportunities to get closer to their favourite team.
As the 2025/26 season rolls out, ParionsSport has promised Marseille supporters special benefits such as “the most competitive odds on OM matches”, exclusive promotional campaigns throughout the season, ticket giveaways for OM home fixtures at the Orange Vélodrome, and VIP experiences both online and on matchdays.
As part of the continued partnership, the ParionsSport brand will also feature on OM’s official Ligue 1 jerseys and throughout the stadium grounds on LED boards, 3D carpets, and stadium signage.
Securing such a high-profile deal through one of its brands will certainly help FDJ United withstand the stringent tax increases introduced by the French government earlier in July.
With the new law in place, lotto levies increased to 69% of GGR, online sports betting levies to 59.3%, and retail sports betting levies are now 42.1% – all core segments of FDJ’s operations.
Regardless, the French gambling giant is yet to see any significant impact. In its H1 trading report, the company showed corporate revenues of €1.86bn and recurring EBITDA standing at €441m (pre-Kindred M&A).
