FeedConstruct wins streaming rights for Malta Premier League
FeedConstruct has continued its global footballing expansion, this time securing a partnership with the Malta Premier League for the division’s global betting rights.
The Armenia-based sports data provider has acquired exclusive worldwide video streaming rights for every match in the league, as well as non-exclusive official data coverage which will become fully-exclusive after the first year of the agreement.
Malta’s Premier League has been growing in popularity in recent years. In 2025, the Malta Premier League Final between Ħamrun Spartans and Birkirkara drew a record-breaking audience of over 87,000.
However, there will be no Maltese sides in European competitions this season after four sides – Floriana, Ħamrun, Marsaxlokk and Valletta – were knocked out of the UEFA Conference League in the qualification stage.
Floriana had previously been eliminated from the Champions League in the first qualifying round by reigning Irish Premier Division champions Shamrock Rovers.
Maltese football is not low on popularity or entertainment though, and the 12-team league is set to kick off next weekend.
On the deal, Alan Abela, Chief Executive Officer of the Malta Premier League, commented: “We are delighted to strengthen our relationship with FeedConstruct through this agreement. Over the years, we have worked closely with the wider group and have developed a strong relationship built on professionalism, innovation and a shared commitment to the growth of football.
“This collaboration marks another important milestone for the Malta Premier League as we continue to enhance the quality, visibility and commercial value of our competition.
“We are confident that FeedConstruct’s expertise and technology will play an important role in supporting the League’s continued development, and we look forward to building on this partnership for many years to come.”
FeedConstruct’s football run culminates in Malta deal
For FeedConstruct, the deal wraps up a busy couple of weeks which has seen it secure footballing partnerships in Wales, Ukraine and Nicaragua.
The firm is also continuing to expand in basketball, landing deals across Asia and South America.
Narek Harutyunyan, CEO of FeedConstruct, added: “Partnering with the Malta Premier League represents another major step forward in strengthening our European rights portfolio.
“By integrating this highly competitive domestic tier into our ecosystem, we ensure only verified, official match data is distributed to our global network.
“Showcasing premier Maltese football on a worldwide stage is a priority, and importantly, this direct pipeline equips our sportsbook partners with the exact technological tools needed to maximise year-round engagement.”
