Highlight Games expands virtual racing portfolio

Video virtual sports developer Highlight Games has plans to offer horse and dog racing products in its wider suite of offerings.

The new releases will be incorporated into the firm’s video virtual sports games portfolio, a move described by Nick Gardiner, Co-CEO of Highlight Games as a ‘key business development’ for the firm.

Supplied by Island Broadcast Media, the latest round of virutals will sit alongside Highlight’s existing products, such as  SOCCERBET, NBA Last 60 basketball and IIHF ice hockey.

Gardiner added: “SOCCERBET and NBA Last 60 are some of the most exciting and successful virtual sports products on the market and It’s fantastic to now be expanding our offering with additional virtual sports content which will cater to every customer and player.

“With its high-performing and competitive portfolio of games Highlight can now be a one-stop virtual sports supplier to operators across the globe and we are particularly pleased to be working with a team with the calibre of Island Broadcast Media who were involved with the development of the very first UK virtual horses and dog racing products. We look forward to announcing the addition of even more racing content to the Highlight product portfolio soon.”

Highlight Games’ partnership with Island Broadcast Media marks a continuation of the firm’s development strategy, which has seen it enter into several partnerships with the goal of expanding its virtual sports portfolio.

Its last collaboration saw the company move to strengthen its provision of Croatian football content, pairing with Endorphin Magine to secure the rights to archive footage from the last 15 seasons of the Croatian Prva HNL football league in order to create exclusive video virtual sports and instant win games.

“Island Broadcast Media prides itself on its pedigree in the virtual sports arena, and it is fantastic to announce this partnership with the award-winning Highlight Games,” remarked Jonathan Mills, Executive Director, Island Broadcast Media.

“Together we will extend Highlight’s product offering to make it one of the most competitive and compelling in the global virtual sports market – it’s an exciting opportunity for both of our businesses.”
