SBC Advisory Partners signs up Lasha Machavariani

SBC Advisory Partners, the pioneering consulting and transaction advisory global service for sports, betting & gaming sector, has strengthened its focus on CIS & Eastern Europe as it is one of the hottest regions of the sports betting and iGaming industry today.

Following a successful partnership between SBC and SMH (Sports Media Holding) for media and events in the region, SBC Advisory Partners has now welcomed its founder and CEO Lasha Machavariani into the network, where he will be providing insight on the CIS and EE territories.

Machavariani has extensive knowledge in CIS gaming markets thanks to his background as founder and CEO of SMH and C level experience at various sports betting and igaming operators in the region.

SBC Advisory Partners Chairman Rasmus Sojmark commented: “Lasha has been a good friend and colleague to the team at SBC Advisory Partners, but more than that he is a widely respected expert in his own field. To be able to tap into that knowledge is a very powerful resource and I look forward to working more closely with him in future.”

Lasha Machavariani added: “I’ve been an evangelist for the SBC brand in our region for several years now, last year SBC and SMH entered into a partnership, where SMH is the regional representative for SBC and is responsible for brand and services development in the region.

“Extending our partnership to work with SBC Advisory Partners, and the added expertise provided by the founding team of Anton Kaszubowksi and Quirino Mancini, I’m able to share my knowledge and expertise to the industry stakeholders from all over the world.”

Anton Kaszubowski, SBC Advisory Partners Managing Director concluded: “Being able to partner closely with regional experts like Lasha is at the core of SBC Advisory Partners’ ethos of being able to deliver local expertise and connections through the unrivalled global reach of its network. The commitment to SBC Advisory Partners from Lasha and SMH is a great boost and further proof of the growing power and depth of our network.”
