Soft2Bet launches Football Manager-style game ahead of World Cup
Soft2Bet has officially launched MEGA11, its football manager-style game designed to increase sportsbook engagement and player retention.
MEGA11 allows users to build and manage fantasy squads, compete in leagues and progress through a tiered system based on activity. The game operates as a standalone, free-to-play product using virtual currency, with optional purchases available to accelerate progression.
The mechanic is directly tied to sportsbook activity, with players being able to earn points in MEGA11 when placing bets, which help advance their in-game status and unlock sportsbook bonuses.
Progression is structured across five levels in a similar style to video games like EAFC and Pro Evolution Soccer – Beginner, Amateur, Professional, World Class and Legend – designed to encourage ongoing participation rather than one-off engagement.
The product is intended to address a structural issue in sports betting, where engagement often falls between live events. By integrating a persistent game layer, the business is aiming to keep users active during periods when they are not actively wagering.
“MEGA11 is built to keep football fans engaged between matchdays, pairing a manager-style progression loop with a soft-currency model that supports compliant, long-term sportsbook loyalty,” said Yoel Zuckerberg, Chief Product Officer at Soft2Bet.
“Football manager games are renowned for having the highest player immersion and longest session times in the industry.
“By bringing this experience to our partners, we are combining real betting with social gameplay to deliver authentic player experiences that resonate with fans and drive sustainable engagement.”
The launch of MEGA11 has been in the pipeline for some time, with the firm having partnered with Atlético Madrid team manager Diego Simeone as a brand ambassador of its Football Manager-style project.
Mega moves at Soft2Bet
The launch expands Soft2Bet’s MEGA gamification suite, which already includes features such as MEGA Chance, MEGA Round and MEGA Clawee.
It comes after recent leadership changes at the Maltese firm, including the introduction of Andrew Cochrane to the c-suite as Chief Commercial Officer, as well as Samuele Traversin joining as EVP of Business Strategy, Chris Anwyl as VP of Commercial and Harrison Barrett as VP of Business Development.
The business also increased annual revenue by 85% in 2025, with EBITDA more than doubling.
Regarding its most recent product launch, Soft2Bet said that the MEGA11 game has been designed with compliance in mind, using a soft-currency structure without requiring deposits to participate, while still linking progression to sportsbook activity.
