Sportradar enhances partnership with UEFA to include betting data collection

Sportradar has reached a new agreement with UEFA, becoming the continental governing body’s authorised collector and distributor of data for betting purposes, building on its current position as the authority’s integrity partner for the past 12 years. 

The agreement will see Nasdaq-registered Sportradar collect and distribute betting data from 1,550 matches beginning with the 2021/22 football season until the end of the 2023/24 campaign across a range of European tournaments at national and club level.

These will include the UEFA 2024 European Championships, the European Qualifiers, the UEFA Nations League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Europa Conference League, UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Women’s Champions League and UEFA Women’s EURO 2022, Under-21s and UEFA Futsal Champions League and UEFA Futsal EURO Championship.

Furthermore, the partners will continue to maintain their integrity operations, with Sportardar providing its Intelligence & Investigation Services and bet monitoring services to support UEFA’s integrity and anti-match fixing activities.

The exclusive agreement was struck following UEFA’s first competitive tender process for betting data distribution purposes, as the organisation aims to ‘maximise the value of its match data and drive deeper engagement worldwide with football fans’ by leveraging Sportradar’s network of 900 sports betting clients across 120 countries.

For Sportradar, the deal represents a further expansion of its portfolio of international and national-level sports authority clients for both integrity and betting data purposes, including the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL), International Tennis Federation (ITF) and the International Cricket Council (ICC).
