BETBY pushes esports beyond mainstream competitions

BETBY has added three new e-sim titles to its Betby Games portfolio; eBoxing, eVolleyball and the world’s first virtual version of Kabaddi, eKabaddi, bringing its total to 22.

The move reflects esports betting going beyond football and basketball, focusing more on niche and regional content. This continues the firm’s focus on finding ways for its esports and sports betting solutions to complement each other.

eKabaddi, which is aimed at fans in Asia, now launches alongside Season 12 of the Indian Pro Kabaddi League, with two tournaments  – the Indian Pro League and a World Cup – running over 7,500 matches per month.

Breaking new ground

Kirill Nekrasov, Head of Sportsbook Product at BETBY, assured that the firm is heading into the new sports season “at full speed” while pushing the Betby Games portfolio to new heights.

He explained: “Each of the new titles is unique and important for the market, we’re filling the live content gap across all directions. The launch of eKabaddi shows that for the Betby Games team, nothing is impossible.”

Matches are two minutes long, with 20,000 monthly betting events. Meanwhile, eVolleyball features four national-team tournaments in a one-set-to-25-points format, generating around 15,000 events a month. They both aim to bring more variety and fast-paced action to Betby Games.

BETBY’s portfolio now includes the aforementioned 22 titles, as well as over 80 tournaments, more than 8,000 betting markets and around 400,000 monthly matches.

Football innovation

Continuing the esports push across all sports, last week BETBY also rolled out a new trading model for football, which was fully built in-house.

The semi-automated system is said to use advanced maths to deliver exclusive localised markets across all league tiers, removing the need for third-party feeds. Odds are generated automatically from raw data, with the trading team only monitoring minimally.

“Our in-house soccer trading model marks a significant advancement in sportsbook flexibility and performance,” added Andris Backovs, Head of Trading at BETBY.

“By combining expert insights with advanced automation, we’re helping our partners strengthen their market offering, improve trading margins, and unlock the potential for exclusive tournament experiences, just in time for the kickoff of Europe’s top leagues.”
