Florian Güde joins iGaming Group as new Head of Sales

iGaming Group has moved to strengthen its international growth strategy by appointing Florian Güde, former CMO at mybet, as its new Head of Sales.

The new appointees’ responsibilities will primarily revolve around iGaming Group’s expansion out of the German market into new international jurisdictions.

Commenting on his new role, Güde remarked: “I am thrilled to join iGaming Group. On the numerous occasions I worked with iGaming I was always impressed by their passion and focus. With my operations background, I also hope to bring an additional angle to the company.”

Prior to joining the igaming affiliate marketing company, Güde served as CMO for mybet between 2010 and 2018, working on projects in Africa, South American and Germany over the last two years, and started his career in the gaming space with Gamebookers.com 16 years ago in London.

Andreas Ditsche, CEO of iGaming Group, noted that Güde’s international background will be a ‘great asset’  and ‘play an important role’ in moving the company’s global expansion plans further forward.

“Florian brings 15 years of industry experience, leadership skills and the passion we are looking for. Getting Florian on board is an important step on our expansion path,” Ditsche detailed.

“We are currently strengthening our team, running a recruitment campaign to hire an additional 100 team members. Bringing someone on board with Florian’s experience is crucial and will help us to change our international footprint.

“He brings the right strategic and analytic mindset needed to push our expansion forward. I am sure that he will blend smoothly into our professional highly motivated team.”

Headquartered in Berlin and maintaining a strong market holding in the German market, iGaming Group has ‘achieved strong growth’ in its home jurisdiction despite a new phase of regulatory changes taking hold.

In 2020, the group reported a year-on-year revenue increase of over 50%, and has a workforce of over 300, based in offices in Germany, Bulgaria, the Netherlands and Israel or working remotely.
