LeoVegas strengthens UK racing presence with RAS

Racing data provider RAS Technology Holdings has struck a deal with LeoVegas Group that encompasses UK racing service delivery.

RAS will now begin work on a comprehensive racing solution which is scheduled to launch for UK audiences by mid-2026. It will feature pre-race data, racing editorial content, official race day data from all major global rightsholders, and a fully Managed Trading Service (MTS).

Official race day data will be supplied from Racing Media Group, The Racing Partnership, PMU, 1st Content, SIS, and Tabcorp. Meanwhile, MTS will complete the package by giving LeoVegas a turnkey racing solution.

LeoVegas Group and its UK brands will assume full control over the product delivery while being supported with additional caveats to reduce operational complexity.

RAS won the tender process by leveraging its comprehensive official data coverage and showcasing its technical infrastructure, which LeoVegas determined are more than capable of executing its brand strategy and product roadmap.

According to RAS, what proved decisive in the selection process was its ability to consolidate multiple data feeds and services into a single integration.

Jack Kelliher, Commercial Director UK/Europe at RAS Technology, said: “We are incredibly proud to partner with a world-leading group in the global gaming industry.

“The detailed and rigorous approach LeoVegas Group took throughout the tender process allowed RAS to showcase the full breadth of our offering and demonstrate how our solutions can be tailored to meet the demands of both large-scale operators and growing businesses alike.

“LeoVegas Group wanted control over their product development, rich and authoritative racing data, comprehensive agreements with all major rightsholders for official content, and the trading and technical flexibility to execute their strategic vision.

“The level of detail and strategic thinking the LeoVegas team brought to the process truly brought out the best in RAS, and we are delighted to have been chosen as their successful partner.”

RAS will gain material revenue over three years from commencement of the solution, with compensation structured as a percentage of net gaming revenue based on LeoVegas’ established brand presence and large customer base in the UK.

Jonathon Hurst, Head of Football and Racing at LeoVegas Group, added: “We are very pleased to sign RAS as our racing service provider in the UK.

“Horse racing is a sport with its strongest following in Britain, and having locally tailored offers like this is a fundamental element in delivering the greatest igaming experience to players.”
