Victoria Darmanin to take interim CFO duties at Raketech
NASDAQ-listed iGaming affiliate firm Raketech Group Holding has appointed Victoria Darmanin as interim Chief Financial Officer.
Having joined the company in 2018 as Head of Accounting, Darmanin then climbed the ranks to become Raketech’s Director of Finance in December 2023.
She’s been instrumental to devising the Group’s financial strategy, leveraging more than 15 years of experience in finance and accounting and over 20 years of experience in the online gaming industry – coupled with an MBA in Business and an ACCA qualification.
Johan Svensson, CEO of Raketech, commented: “I have worked with Victoria since 2018, both during my time on the Board and over the past two years as CEO. Throughout that time, she has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and a deep understanding of our business.
“Victoria’s appointment reflects the strength of the talent within Raketech and our ability to develop leaders internally. We are confident in her ability to ensure continuity, stability and high standards in our financial governance.”
Darmanin will begin interim CFO duties effective 1 May. She steps up to cover for outgoing CFO Måns Svalborn, whose tenure will conclude on 30 April, having begun in 2019.
Svalborn handed in his resignation on 30 January, adding: “I am grateful for the opportunity to have served as CFO of Raketech and to have worked closely with the Board, Management Team, and colleagues across the Group. I wish the company the best as it continues its work going forward.”
Darmanin will work towards stabilising Raketech’s financial profile as the search for a new permanent CFO commences. The company’s latest financial results showed a 47.3% YoY decrease in revenue for a total of €27m in FY25 (FY24: €51.3m).
As it looks to return to growth, Raketech might consider expanding its horizons in key market jurisdictions outside of its focus in Sweden and Denmark. Finland could prove to be a viable alternative, given the country’s move towards a licensed regime.
